Dear Puneits,

The Rally Under the Banner Youth for Equality in Pune on 21st of May 2006 did not get the Police permissions. So the Rally has been canceled by Youth for Equality.

However there is a SILENT Rally starting 4.00 pm from SNDT by the students of Engg and Medical Colleges. BUT, since the rally is SILENT RALLY, SLOGANS and VOCAL demonstrations are strictly prohibited by Law.

Kindly take note of the same.

Please pass this to as many people as you can.

I think now we need to restrict the govt. on increasing seats, or trying any other means to finally increase the quotas.
make this a success & then aim for 0% quotas.
Thats not asking for too much.
It is important.
Do not let the govt. increase seats, beacuse except for IIM-L, no other institute has adequate faculty till date!

At 8:26 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

My full support to you guys... Self promoting politicians like Arjun Singh continue to mislead the country with impunity... VP Singh is still alive..

My personal feeling is that quotas are here to stay.. So many young students burnt themselves or were killed by the police but Mandal quotas were implemented and the govt did not budge an inch in their implementation..

Do you realise why that happened? why the quotas were implemented and why politicians keep on coming with new quotas and gimmicks for their self promotion? And its not about quotas alone, India's poor governance extends to ALL the spheres.. The only places india is good at are where the govt did not have a role to play...

Why then the people keep on electing the same people and why do we fail and continue the cycle.. ??

Why are we failing even as a democratic country?? If we fail we would probably be the only failed democratic state..

My only motive of writing this is that so that we become aware of the root of the problem. And once we KNOW the root of the problem, we should attak it with all our determination and force.

My full support from Canada. Excellent work ladies and gentlemen. I am proud of the youth of India. I wish there was a way I could support the protest by being the 100001st person in the protest. Down with such absolute idiotic political stunts and divisions that dont even take into account the major effects on society and future. Great job guys. Great job!

I am AVNISH RAJ organized the Mob against the Mandal commission in 1990 at AIIMS Crossing with the local Laxmi Bai Nagar people and INA Market people and Blocked the AIIMS Crossing continuously till 5 Days with the support of all the Delhi University and Schools and Medical Students specially Mr. Manprat Singh Gulati (President of AIIMS Medical Student Union 1990) who gave me a letter of support in writing on 21st of September, 1990, Mr. Sunjay (President of Student Union in 1990 of Safadujung Hospital), Ms. Ritu Student leader of JNU, Mr. Hariram of North Campus of Delhi University, IIT Student Union and Delhi Police and even Indian Top Army Officers signed the support when I was there in Laxmi Bai Nagar and AIIMS Crossing in 1990 and that time Mr. V. P. Singh was playing gimmicks to save his seat while it was very surprising the whole India was burning and our all corrupt politicians were busy in Mandal or Kamandal (Rath Yatra) but no one was bother about the students. Right now Mr. V. P Singh’s Kidneys are failed and they go for the Dialysis very frequently to USA he himself do not believe the Reserved Seat Doctors who have not passed on Merit why he is not going under the prescription or the guidance of Reserved Kota Doctors that time when question comes of his own Medical Treatment that time all the politicians who support Reservation goes to Merit Doctors. See another example, of Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan he was admitted in Apollo Delhi when he was ill. Now same thing Mr. Arjun Singh who is politically failed and coming as MP only through Upper House as he knows he can’t win the election and due to his own bias politics against Dr. Man Mohan Singh he is doing this type of cheap game of Reservation. First he played a card of Hindu Muslim in AMU now he played the Upper Caste vs. OBC, SC, ST card. We all support to all the people who are fighting against these Castisim or Reservation. It was heard in some news that Mr. V. P. Singh who was adopted son was declared Mentally Retired by his spouse and now Mr. Arjun Singh some years back whose name was in the scandal of Churhut Lottery has not done any thing in his constituency (Madhya Pradesh) but here in Delhi he playing cheap game. They all are Jaychand of India.

I personally feel please do not take any support of any politician as they can not help you declare the open war and announce a person who will support the Reservation will not get even a single Vote of Upper Caste or Merit people.

Now a days full support are not coming from students as vacation are going on so Delhi University or Colleges all over the India will come up in the front after the vacation.

AVNISH RAJ

I am one of those few people who thinks reservations are probably good for backward castes AND the forward castes as well. I am a brahmin by birth (tamil iyengar) and have received no special treatment from any educational institution. I feel this kind of quota system actually filters out the mediocre among the so called forward castes and brings in ral merit in these areas.

Also, lets take an example of a poor farmers son from a village competing with a city boy for the same engg college seat. Do you think the village boy has same opportunities for learning as the city boy does? Does he have computer access? Does he have tutions? I dont think so. So reservations is one way of bridging this divide. There are other, arguably better ways to achieve equity among the various sections of people, but reservations are quick to pass through , dont require too much investment and do show results in a generation or two. The only changes that i think should be ma de are economic strata wise classification.

Dear Mr President,

Ohh Mr President are you listening…listening are you

I am in full compliance with the reservation norms infact I want more
…..

How much more read on

Why just have reservation in the IIMS and the IITS …..have it every
where
…..i ll tell you where

Well lets have 2 bogies in each train..a piece for the OBC and the SCs
and
where normal people are forbidden…

Well lets have special buses with 2 seats reserved a piece for OBC and
SCs…if that’s not all lets have an OBC conductor where they are
provided
with OBC tickets made from special OBC grown trees.…using OBC
fertilizers ….

Well if that’s not enough lets have a special OBC Mcdonalds where even
the
McDonald clown is an OBC ..he can take turn with the SC clown and sit
outside Mc donalds…where the OBC kids can have fun with each other…and
the
ice cream softy cone they serve should be made out of milk from OBC
cows and
SC bulls…

The vegetables they use should be from OBC farms…and the transport they
use
should be OBC special…

Well if that’s not enough reserve rivers for them…have special turbines
for
them..let them use only OBC electricity and nothing more..

Well lets reserve highways for them between cities..where only OBCS can
commute ..where only OBCs serve OBC lassi and OBC aloo paratha grown
from
OBC farms..in OBC DHABAS…

What about reserving movie theatres for them cmon they are
underprivileged
and they should only be shown documentary movies on the tribes and
folks
from deep down in Andaman and nicobar…well they could well do with
movies
like “OBC HO NA HO” “OBC PAGAL HAI” “OBC OBC DULHANIYA KO LE JAYENGE”

Cmon no pun intended..they are human too…they deserve to be loved…and
they
are quite a romantic at heart….

Well when it comes to residential housing..reserve 2 floors for OBCs
and SCs
and have special OBC watchmen….who can look after OBC cars specially
made
from OBC steel ..

Why lets have reservation for an OBC Laxmi Mittal (sorry sir) who can
only
bid for an OBC arcelor…..

Why even reserve OBC oil rigs for them….where only OBC workers can
pump out
oil….if that’s not enough reserve poultry farms for them…where ONLY OBC
hens
and fowl can spread OBC Avian flu to …OBC folk…if that’s not enough
reserve
hospitals for them where ….these doctors that are going to turn out by
your
quota can treat them….

Whats more even obcs who come out of engineering colleges in search of
jobs..why don’t you reserve software companies for them…where only OBCS
can
work…only OBC MBAs who graduate from OBC mba colleges can work….and
they can
only make OBC software for OBC companies…..

Well if that’s not enough reserve toilets for them…where only OBCS can
achieve their crowning glory…..and they should have special OBC
cleaners
and sweepers to clean their toilets….where only brooms from OBC coconut
trees from kerala are used…

Well lets reserve a part of himalayas from where water can flow into
OBC
lakes and sanitize their OBC farms….and provide OBC pesticides against
“NORMAL” insects..

Well lets reserve OBC temples where only OBCs can offer their prayers….

Well if that’s not enough lets have OBCs school who are specially
taught OBC
history where all this happened and let them celebrate may 14 ,2006 as
their
independence day….and celebrate Mr Arjun Singh as their Mr Gandhi….

Well if that’s not enough let them have an OBC Pakistan to have our
INDIAN
OBC soldiers to have a cold war with …even if that’s not enough
reserve a
part of tiger hill..where only OBC soldiers can give their life and
fight
with only OBC Pakistani soldiers…

Well if that’s not enough lets have an OBC stock market where only
OBCS
can buy and sell shares

Well if that’s not enough reserve special OBC condoms made from OBC
reserved OBC rubber trees for them..where only OBCs can have sex with
OBC
people…

Well lets reserve advertisements /TV channels for them where only OBC
Products/ OBC shows like ( KAUN BANEGA OBC CROREPATI ….OBC IDOL….) can

shown…why reserve radio bandwidth for them where only OBC shows can be
broadcast….name these radio channels (OBC Mirchi…)

can
be put …reserve half of Dhonis hair where only OBC hair oil can be
used….

Well Mr president reserve a part of the INDIAN flag …what say lets
colour
that part black…..

Regards,

RBK

(Rohan Basavaraj Khadabadi….)

If you still haven’t got the hint Mr president by doing this you are
only
creating a separate OBC INDIA.. you are cutting your own body with
your
hands…where actually united we should stand and work to beat the likes
of
CHINA and the USA…

Remember the British divided us and ruled and thus INDIA suffered and
still
has not got to where it once was…(The golden sparrow flying in the sky
is
still a dream)

This move will only take INDIA back 50 years….as you can see in the
mail…irrespective of reservations poor will always remain poor..the
rich
will always remain…rich..

Lets try bridging the economic divide….lets not fight against each
other for
place..Lets fight along with each other…to fight poverty…corruption

And let peoples representatives be decided by merit not by caste creed
or
religion…

Lets use our ever growing population to our advantage…lets try to
remove
social ills…lets encourage women…to hold high postions…lets…

Support the cause of 100 % literacy….lets increase the female/male
ratio….lets increase employment…lets encourage sports…

Well all I can say is friends please forward this to as many people you
know…..this is an honest appeal….

http://deservation.blogspot.com/ an anti reservation inititiative.. DESERVATION.. Its no longer about what we got and what we will get, now its about what we DESERVE.. And education is what we deserve, and on a platform that sees every individual as an equal, a platform that is unbiased, that does not discriminate on the basis of caste, culture, and creed, sex, religion and race. And to build that platform we will have to fight for our right and for what we truly DESERVE.
